3 easy steps to enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP):
Over 40% of all households are eligible for ACP!
- Based on your household income
- If you (or your child) participates in any of these programs:
- SNAP (EBT/Food Stamps)
- Medicaid
- WIC
- SSI
- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
- Federal housing assistance

There are additional qualification methods for those on Tribal Lands, in addition to this list.
Before starting your ACP application, you will need the following information:
- Home address where you will apply the ACP discount to your internet plan
- Your social security number, a government ID, or another form of identification
- Documentation to confirm your eligibility for the program, if needed
When you are ready, visit www.getinternet.gov/apply to start your ACP application.
After completing your application, and once approved for ACP, you will receive an ACP Application ID number.
Save your ACP Application ID number because you will need it for Step 3 and in the future!
After you receive your ACP Application ID number, you have 2 options:
- Don't have internet? Call the internet provider of your choice to sign up for internet service — you can apply your ACP discount to whatever internet plan you choose. Find internet providers in your area.
- Already have an internet plan and want to keep it? You can! Just call your current internet provider and tell them you want to apply your ACP discount to your current internet plan.
Provide your new or current internet provider with your ACP Application ID number to start receiving your ACP discount of up to $30/month!
